Contributions

The Unity Neighborhood Center, Inc is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization and has a 501-c3 exemption from the Internal Revenue Services. Since Unity has been established it hasreceived support from a wide range of private and public sources. Support from our founders,as well as our fundraising efforts on a local level allows Unity to continue to provide services to the children, youth and adults in the Northeast Bronx. Since the inception of Unity, funding has been received from the following private and public sources:

New York State Dept of Education, New York State Family and Children Services, New York State Department of Labor, New York City Parks Foundation, New York City Dept. of Youth and Community Development, New York State Child and Adult Feeding Program, New York State Health Department.
