Celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday!

Posted on: Feb 18, 2014

Have you ever read "The Cat in The Hat" or "Green Eggs and Ham?" Dr. Seuss is the author of these books and many more. His birthday is on March 2, and Unity Neighborhood Center will be celebrating Dr.Seuss' Birthday with a special event for our young students. We will have distinguished guests and community leaders read a selection of Dr.Seuss classics to the children followed by a brief discussion, fun activities, light snack and, time permitting, a Dr. Seuss film. We seek to encourage reading at all ages, and it is especially important to encourage young readers. READ NOW! Join Us for a fun day!

There will be two dates for this event:

Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the P.S. 87 site
Wednesday March 5, 2014 at the P.S. 21 site.

Open to limited audience.
